Unexpectedly interesting xcom-like project, that can both surprise with its mechanics combined with unusual ideas and annoy player with quite poor/old technical condition. 1024x768 resolution and some other downsides, including hard 'setup' process to just start playing the game - make it challenging to enjoy. I also think that UFO: Aftershock (sequel) might be a better entry point as they made a lot of work on...

That darn camera. I had a sweeter memory than it is, but it's still pretty legit x-com like with unique mechanics.

This game is not as wonderful as XCOM, but it's still surprisingly decent, given it's not very famous. I have not played the original UFO enemy unknown game so it's difficult for me to compare with that one. The mechanism of real-time + can pause at any time works very well to me. A quite enjoyable experience for me.

Don't buy Moronic publisher decided to slap a launcher that's actually a crapware ad on top of the regular exe, and as a result it's not longer possible to play the game through Steam on windows 11 DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE

A little old school for most I assume. The opening cinematic was clearly a homage or rip off the the 1996 movie Independence Day, a delightful surprise for me because that is my favorite movie of all time.
