Not designed for keyboard or mouse controls. Can't hit chords with the single mouse input and can't click the flying notes when you are using the keyboard. The game is 100% designed around touch and do not buy this if you aren't going to be playing it on a touch device. On top of this, the notes you need to play will randomly be out of sync with the music, so if you play to the music, like you should in rhythm...

The framing story drew me in, but without a touchscreen, the actual rhythm game is just too hard. I tried rebinding the accidentals (black keys) to the right hand, but it just made me more confused.

Unfortunately, a quirky presentation does not make up for poor design. While the game may have some charm, it is let down by its execution. Three examples: - The game is designed for touch controls, not keyboards. That is a limited market, and it is made worse by very poor rebinding options. is a funny game, and not bad. For Easy and normal you can use the mouse,but for Hard from Chapter 7 you need mouse and keyboard. For the sliding Parts hold the mouse button short. For Chopin is keyboard and mouse useless and for me unplayable for this i used my old M-Audio 88es USB MIDI Keyboard configured with Asio and it works fine. Frederic: Evil Strikes Back is the sequel to the first Frederic: Resurrection of Music game. It is a rhythm game which has 4 difficulty levels, making it accessible for everyone of all skill levels. Although there are only 10 levels, the music was so refreshing and I liked the challenge that the hardest difficulty gave.
