it's a drawing style horror game about facing your fears. Protagonist with heavy past must overcome obstacles and escape from dreamland but 'obvious right choices' does not necessarily 'right'. This game plays with user in some ways, a few options means 'punish' for you.

MDNE is a weird Russian walking sim/first person horror adventure game that remarkably isn't an asset flip, but that doesn't mean it's by any means good... from bad visuals, no meaningful settings or options, all the way through to fake reviews and godawfully bad Russian translation, this is a failure in every regard. This game has been translated from Russian into English... badly. If this was done through Google...
