Shiftlings

I bought this game cause it look silly and fun. I was right. This game is awesomely fun, but still a challenging puzzle game. Really makes you think outside the box. Love the added challenge of getting the bonus cola bottles. Though a few are still elduing my little Shiftlings. The only downside I see is that it doesn't support profiles or reseting progress. So once you have the bottle, you can't reset your profile...

GREAT FOR COOP! I was looking for a new coop game to play with friend and came across Shiftlings. At first I was a bit skeptical due to the price and from what i could see there weren't many videos on reviews or gameplay. So we took a gamble and were pleasantly suprised. Good idea that is realized quite badly. I really like the core puzzle mechanic and some of its use in the game BUT - it makes you do same things over and over, especially with backtracking in some levels, - really tacky graphics and annoying commentator, - sometimes you slip off the edges, sometimes you don't jump off of the fat guy, it's not very consistent. Oh wow.. been so long since I played a Sierra game. I did all the quest games. A beautiful game with it's gameplay mechanics built on a fart joke. Things get pretty low brow throughout the game. You play as two tube connected aliens (or one in co-op) who have to navigate though levels to solve puzzles. One is large and can push object as well as pull the small one behind him. The style is aimed for younger players, and some of the jokes are fairly juvenile, but the gameplay itself is pretty fun. Pretty good puzzles. It can be played solo with no problem for the most part. Some places are a lot easier with 2 players. In general it's a lot more fun to play with a friend so you can mess around with each other the whole time.

Just picked this up on a Humble Bundle, been on a platformer craze as of recent, 2 levels in and I can see myself fully completing this ABSOLUTELY! The controls are nowhere near well coordinated at first, and can't use extra mouse buttons, so either use a controller or be ready to reconfigure controls and have two hands on the keyboard - if you have any questions I could suggest mine.
