I played the original Chaos on the ZX Spectrum and on Spectrum emulators for 30 years. I found it was the perfect game for taking a break from work. I would start a game, cast some spells, kill some creatures and basically have fun. Whether I won or lost I would go back to work feeling refreshed. The main complaint of reviewers is no longer a problem, namely its core luck mechanic, as the developer added the option to disable it entirely.
