Heavily recommend: play it via The Force Engine. Impressive level design, some simple and some other challeging puzzles, and becomes really enjoyable to play with The Force Engine gameplay-wise. Definitely a must-play for any Star Wars fan, specially if you enjoy the Jedi Knight series.

I'm glad they made a remake. But still, I prefer this one with the funny shooting up mechanics.

Played the 3 level demo of this game endlessly as a kid. Still is just as fun today. Its a shame they don't sell this version on Steam anymore. Works great on Steam Deck when loaded via The Force Engine.

An extremely mid game. It's a clear DOOM clone, but with very uninspired level design and design in general. Most levels flew by you with nothing memorable. All enemies can be killed with your base stormtrooper gun that ypu get in the beggining, making other weapons almost useless. There was only one level in the beggininng with elevator puzzle that was super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. First you need to figure out that it's about...

HOWEVER, there is incredible modding support for this game that brings it closer to the modern age. I played the first 6 levels vanilla, basically abusing guides to get me through this doom-like. My...

Honestly did not expect this to play this smoothly and aging this well (although played it with The Force Engine source port). Controls felt smooth, level design "largely" intuitive - unless you've become "retro FPS-brained" after playing a few dozen Quake 1 map packs, you'll likely swear bloody murder at level designers during Sewer puzzle or Imperial City hex room puzzles - but other than that, smoother sailing...
