It's a bit crazy to think that if you want a fresh take on the famous Tropico series. . .You have to come to this 2003 title (i.e. Pirate Cove)! I like the classic wood-n-brass look and other affectations (like ol timey words like 'middlin' and 'preenin'). Only played this for a couple hours so take this with a grain of salt, but these are my thoughts so far. What I like: + The pirate theming, while hardly unique compared to the first game, does help this stick out compared to the rest of the series + Very good atmosphere, I just love all of the jolly pirate vibes + Despite the rebrand, the general feel of Tropico gameplay is intact. This game is not optimizied for newer operating systems at all. This means that you have to adapt the app, until you can start the game every time before you can play it. Even worse, the game is way too complicated and doesnt explain enough.

Game doesn't work, its a bummer cause I used to love it but i can't get it to work. If you can get it to work than I siggest ya give it a shot.

OMG one of my favorite Tropico games!!!!! I played probably a pirated version of this many many many many years ago I loved it and kind of bummed they dropped the pirate aspect of the game but whatever. A classic and a must have if you are a serious Tropico fan!!!

diasppointing sequel. Game play is clunky and slow, and i also found this meant it restricted being able to progress the game. I note the online comments about how t o play the game, but these reinforce how prescriptive it is. I'd say don't bother with this one
