The trading and Hanseatic simulation depth is technically there, but the interface and gameplay have aged like milk. It feels way too tedious to manage basic routes without pulling your hair out. Only for hardcore retro trade nerds with a lot of patience.

Don't be fooled, you aren't actually buying the game; you're letting yourself get scammed by paying for access to a copy that belongs to the company not to you. They can block your account and all your games. Buy a real copy that you can physically hold in your hands. It’s a great game, I remember playing it many years ago, but this version is bugged. The absolute best of its kind. You start by picking a home town. Each town produces a few products at high efficiency, and another few at low efficiency (meaning there will be a steady supply, and you can stock up on those goods in those cities, and sell them elsewhere in places that don't produce them).
