It's trying so hard to be scary that it ends up just being funny. Also, it's damn short. I 100% it before the 2 hour mark and even before I got a trading card.

Eversion is a compact 2D platformer that uses familiarity as a deliberate form of misdirection. At first, it appears to be a cheerful retro adventure filled with colorful scenery, simple enemies, collectible gems, and an uncomplicated rescue mission. Despite now being 16 years old, I'd say this game is worth the 5 or so dollars you pay for it. It's a small package, but definitely a nice little puzzle game with some difficulty in the later worlds. (the puzzle element only really comes into play when you're trying to collect all 240 gems) It's charming and cute yet delightfully spooky. If you're into both puzzle games and horror, I'd say this game is a must-play!

A small but creative 2D platformer, It can be a little bit annoying at times when it comes to movement but it's short and it has some cool secrets to uncover

It's okay but as others have said it laid a lot of the groundwork for other cool ideas after 2010 so I'll give it a thumbs up without recommending you play it in 2026 or after.

Classic and holds up alright. Hitboxes are a bit jank. GETTING THE LETTER IN WORLD 6 IS IMPOSSIBLE Play, but only if you have a high frustration tolerance.
