It's pretty cool. It's your usual point&click game with inventory manipulation and it had a couple frustrating moments but overall it's well done. The main mystery was interesting. Some of the cutscenes were really impressive for a game of this scale.

Cleverly presented, slightly undercooked Morningstar: Descent to Deadrock is a point-and-click adventure, but not the traditional sort where you spend half your life watching someone walk from the left side of the screen to the right, realise you forgot something, and send them back again. The game was pretty alright! It felt like those side quests you would stumble upon in Mass Effect, except you are playing as the crew that has something strange terrible happen to them. I do have some complaints, like the piece needed for the ventilation was hard to find since I didn't notice it appearing and ran around trying to craft everything in my inventory. Then there was the voice acting, the voices themselves...

A really great reimagining of an early internet flash game. I remember playing a long time ago, and while it is as intriguing and entertaining as it was back in 2009, there are some things I wish they kept. For one, the original Voice actors are just much better. And two, while the music is enjoyable in this game, that old Morningstar background music really sets the atmosphere for this small point and click...

A classic point-n-click, reminding me on the good times when this genre was much more appreciated. Nice story, cool intro and outro movies, well balanced puzzles: not too hard and not too lame, you can solve everything by using your brain, but you won't need to go into annoying pixel-hunting. A really great work from such a small group of game makers. Keep on bringing more titles like this!

A fun P&C Sci-fi/Adventure game that is nicely put together. Puzzles are mildly difficult until you get the hang of how they work and smartly done in terms of items working together. Easy to achieve 100%. Interesting story but relatively short game overall. Graphics are nice if only a little dated and the voice acting is well-done. Pick it up on sale for a few hours of enjoyable classic adventure.

BottomLine at the Top: Alyssa-Black, fellow member of our point and click fan steam group the Coalition of Point and Clickers (check us out!), described this as a "Solid, decent adventure".
