A CRPG with good potential, but it falls short on just about every angle except pricing. The price is good. The game is bad. Game is stuttery as all heck if you play windowed fullscreen. Inventory management is a nightmare. Your party resources don't regen naturally over time so you're forced to carry endless healing items around you. Alone, the diversity of these can and will consume over 50% of your inventory...

possibly one of the worst crpgs of all time, it screams "we make games cuz its a job" not "we play games", they learned nothing from the greats and youll be wishing for the glory days before you leave the first area....trash UI, looting, items, abilities, combat, tone, style etc etc, i hated it all, but if youre an incel simp cuck...it might be just your thing,

Ember is what I would call an RPG lite. This in no way makes it inferior to "deeper" RPGs - just different. And the main reason I call it "lite" is that the character development is far less involved than it is with other RPGs. There are no skills or skill trees for you to choose from but rather your skills are provided solely by the equipment you wear. This is a different approach and one I've not seen too many...

Yes, i liked this game. Was it so great that your gaming life is meaningless without it? No. I'd probably describe it as a dumbed-down Pillars of Eternity. You only get 3 characters (including the player character) in your party at a time, with a 4th character being able to be swapped out with 1 of the other 2 non-player characters in your party.
