CompareRazenroth is an action shooter with a dark atmosphere, enriched with the elements of roguelike and RPG. All the levels, weather conditions, distribution and quantity of key elements are generated randomly. Thanks to this fact, a single game is different each time.

A nice surprise, the game is a lot of fun and it's short. There's some replay value if you want to beat it on a higher difficulty. 8/10

A nice and cheap top-down roguelike shooter. Not spectacular, but it is charming. For the price, it's pretty hard not to recommend it (especially on sale). I actually beat the normal campaign on my first try. Looking forward to getting more permanent unlocks to my cabin, playing unlockable characters, and trying harder difficulties. Not a bad little game this :D Enjoyable, relaxing, comfort gaming. great for playing while listening to podcasts. A nice, slower paced, procedurally generated top down shooter with light rpg mechanics such as potions, armour and different spells. Runs last a long time (providing you don't die, of course). Fairly priced. Thumbs up. I'll update this mini review when I unlock the harder difficulties.

The graphics and game play are kind of simple but otherwise this is a solid rogue like. There are some neat pets to collect and plenty of gear to find, unlock, and upgrade. You also get a neat little home base to upgrade between runs. It's not a world changing RPG but it's definitely worth a bit of time and it's a cheap game too!

It seems that there is a sentiment in most reviews (for this and some other games) that since it is so cheap, why not just buy it? Well, I think that's a fallacy. Summary: Action gameplay from a top-down perspective with a "bullet hell" flavor, sprinkle in some RPG mechanics, add a dash of roguelike elements for good measure.
