Episode 5 Patch #1 Release Notes

There is a new patch for THE DESCENDANT Episode 5: Ultimatum. Please note we have made several improvements throughout the game with this new patch. IMPROVEMENTS • Improvements on lighting in several scenes. FIXES • Fixed the achievement Employee of the Year so that it unlocks correctly. • Fixed an issue with music volume in Episode 5. • Fixed several issues with cutscenes. • Fixed some localization issues. KNOWN ISSUES • General, when playing with a controller we strongly recommend playing in full-screen mode as window mode can cause several issues where the input of the controller would not get recognized by the game.

Played both timelines and damn the choices hit hard. Keeping the descendants alive as Mia while everything fails, then digging into the conspiracy as Donnie... every decision can doom or save people. Tense, emotional, and the branching paths feel real. Loved the dual story.

To be honest it didnt reall hook me. I pretty much only bought the rest of the episodes because they were pretty cheap. Its still really nice and not too bad. The characters reaction seem really weird and too normal for the situation. Still pretty nice. I can recommend it.

Very slow paced point and click story where you will question why the characters put down the tools they find after using them and need them again later... I'd judge this as a good 10$ story if you like these kinds of games, otherwise I'd have to recommend watching a streamer play it instead. The gameplay experience is quite bad but the story is good.
