This game basically combines everything that I like. Nice retro visuals, alternative history, postapocalyptic setting after WW3 and dynamic campaign with tactical map where you can decide what you want to do next. Also units gaining experience and being able to take them into next missions if you keep them alive. But beware that this game can be very tough and unforgiving. I got my fair share of enjoyment from Cuban Missile Crisis. But tread lightly, the experience is likely to appeal to very few. The premise - cold war went hot, and now the leftovers of former super powers are duking it out for the scraps of inhabitabale land. The theme is maintained well with fitting atmosphere.
