Decent enough UFO/XCOM-like back in its day (modded/Gold edition), mostly superseded by Xenonauts nowadays if you're into old school X-Com (without all the streamlining of the Firaxis game). It can still well scratch that TB tactical itch!

This is an amazing UFO: Enemy Unknown remake. The Gold edition (Lite Bman's mod) made the vanilla version a much better game. If possible install the Full version of Bman's mod to fix some bugs and add some extra content (sounds and original xcom aliens). I highly recommend this if you liked the original XCOM games! I see this game as a more true spiritual successor to XCOM: Ufo Defense (otherwise known as UFO: Enemy Unknown in Australia), and XCOM: Terror from the Deep. This is a really old-style XCOM game. It still runs well in full screen. I am hoping the developers release UFO2 soon, maybe this year? They have been working on it slowly for a long time now. This game feels like an attempt to improve the good old X-com series (Which franky I liked quite a lot). This is a serviceable ripoff of X-Com and remastered with 4K support and a slew of graphics options. The assets look a bit dated but the gameplay is solid. You can't buy it anymore, and it's probably not as good as the new X-Com remake, but it's still okay. If you can get a key for like $2 or something it's worth it I guess.

This is real mixed bag. If you played the original x-com and are looking for a neat little game to play for a bit, then you'll enjoy this.
