The Grandfather is a short puzzle game that will most likely last you 30-45 minutes. First of all, the narrators voice is way to low, she is almost barely audible the first time you hear her. This game does not impress me. The creator has forgotten Hearing impaired, hard of hearing and deaf people. There was no captions at all and I had no idea what I was supposed to do! And I am a seasoned adventure game player! The game creator really should have put captions in, as not doing so discriminates Deaf people from being able to play the game that we spent the money on, therefore wasting our money on...

I picked this up because it reminded me of "The Cat Lady" and "Downfall" which are two games I really enjoyed. This game shares a similar atmosphere with a dark narrative and a gritty art style. Artistic would be the word, I suppose, and art is a very personal thing. So maybe that’s why the reviews are 50/50 as they stand right now.
