Ultimate Arena update is officially cancelled
2022-12-29It is with a heavy heart that I have to officially announce the Ultimate Arena big update cancelled. I regret to inform you that due to a lack of commitment from two of the developers it is no longer possible to continue developing content for the game. A very difficult decision was made by me to completely halt development, since the key people who were supposed to be working on the project aren't able to do so anymore. The process of working on the big update was rocky and inconsistent and I was looking at a drawn out process which in the best case scenario would have ended with a bare-bones build consisting of only one level. Simply put, there was a lot of work to be done and precious little time to be spared. On a personal note, I am extremely disappointed in this turn of events and did everything in my power to keep the project alive despite the drawbacks.

Sadly it wasn't meant to be, and I don't have the means to work on the project alone. I would like to offer my most sincere apologies to everyone who, like me, was waiting for the update to arrive. The current version of Ultimate Arena will remain of Steam and can still be played via "Host Game", so nothing has changed in that regard. Project lead Kenneth 'Zeb89' Caselli
