I dont have a real need for something like this yet, but the fact that it exist excites me. While rough around the edges I think a program like this could be very useful for many students or businesses in the future. Realistically I can imagine a way something like this could be worked into almost any industry.

While the concept is good, the program doesn't work properly, and doesn't even give any indication that it fails. Apparently all of the lecture content requires something abstract (flash? quicktime? web browser?) the developer hasn't figured out; there are a couple of installers bundled under a "LectureVR_Documents" directory, but at least the flash one didn't work (on Windows 8.1) and even deleted itself without so...

This software has improved quite a bit recently. Much better menus and navigation. The experiences are starting to point towards an acutal educational value for students. There are so many technical issues that i don't even know where to begin. -The lack of a working IK (the one implemented only sorta does the job) -no motion smoothing on other peoples movement, just jumping from spot to spot if the connection on my is a bit ♥♥♥♥ -missing spatialization for the others' which makes it difficult to talk to someone since everyone is in your head. -They keyboard system is outdated....

Its nothing like Altspace, but that is where almost all events I attend are held. The only reason I am recommending it is that for some events and meetings, there is no other choice. It seems unstable and very limited compared to Altspace, but there seems to be nothing better now

Wonderful VR and desktop social and educational for sharing knowledge with people around the world. Easy to learn, beautiful features that are free and paid for. For a great first time experience, I recommend to look at the events scheduled and go to one of these. They also have tutorials by the staff to show you how to use the tools. Check it out.

Engage is simply the best VR training and education platform available today. If you're into VR for more then just gaming you should try the free version and watch some of the prerecorded content.
