I Don't know why they just remove the in game music , also they changed some little details in game and that's fine but the in game music ?? WHY ? JUST WHY ?? really I am disappointed , really wasted 5 dollars

One of my favourite puzzle games of all time. For its age, it's amazing how well it works today. A classic of the Reflexive Arcade; it's a real shame there was never a sequel and I don't think we ever heard from the creators again.

OMG it's Oasis! I bought this on CD last year after reading some glowing recommendations on one of my forums and LOVED IT. The only reason I didn't play it more was dealing with the CD. Now I don't have to do that anymore! YEAH! This game is amazing. Civilization meets Minesweeper is very accurate, and it's so great.

"Minesweeper meets Civilization" really does sell this game about as well as anything can. This looms high in the pantheon of what I would call "microstrategy games." Think Kingdom, Bad North, Overland... but especially this game, which still keeps that one foot firmly in the casual puzzle space. I can't even remember how I first heard about it and got my hands on it. It might be after researching MDA game design...

A classic turn-based tile exploration game back in print after being gone for 10 years. This is one of my all-time favorite games. I've played for hundreds of hours on the original PC and iPad versions, (both of which are no longer available). And this seems like a straight port. If it ain't broke... This game has kept me comping back for years. It's such a perfect little puzzle/strategy game with near endless replayability. Give it a try!

I found Defense of the Oasis when it suddenly appeared on the Steam store, years and years after its release. I bought this game a long time ago - forgot about it, tried to find it again a few times over the years since and it was impossible to find. I was so excited to see it finally on Steam! However after 2 minutes it's clear that it is just a port of an amazingly old game. Going into full-screen mode immediately breaks the game and makes it unplayable with a ton of graphical glitches.
