One of the best RTS games of all time, and maybe the single greatest Warhammer 40k game of all time if you include its expansions (specifically Dark Crusade). It captures the tone and feel of the setting perfectly in every regard, and kinda even the gameplay, Dawn of War isn't too far from being a real time version of tabletop 40k (at least, early 2000s tabletop 40k) with how cover and such work. The Start Of Conflict 2004 - the year when Warhammer40k became really big - thanks to this game. Great visuals, accompanied with awesome ideas like: 1)Changing guns for your squads 2)Using cover of the terrain 3)Adding sergeants to your squads 4)GORE!!!! And so much more It was a very impressive RTS back in the day. In fact it was so good, most RTS failed to replicate it, thus making DoW one of the best RTS ever...
