Abandonware, Unfinished There is no Campaign (or "Champaign" as it's still called, which should give an indication of its status), only Quick Battle Despite the Dev cancelling development since June 2017, the game still lists as Early Access and is still being sold. Do not buy

Result: + Non-standard RTS gameplay, of which there have been so few in recent years (some clones of C&C have divorced). + There are many forgotten ideas in the game, which contributes to a new look at the gameplay of space strategies + Good music + Nice graphics + Exhaustible system resources + The presence of aliens - There is no Company to go through yet - There is no network support yet

Thought I had stumbled across a new indie game with a twist, but it is almost unplayable. - No tutorial other than a wiki written by someone with English as a second language. - UI issues makes a lot of things unreadable. - Build screens keep coming back when you close them. - Just one generic resource: Ore, turn it to metal, build stuff, repeat. - No zoom function, (that I'm aware of, there might be a shortcut key,...

Early Access Abandonware A painful 2-level map with lower level map exceeding screen borders, slow gameplay better suited to being turn-based, sit-and-wait sector warp times, compstomp.

Starfringe is one of those many games that seems to have had the potential to be good. Granted, I did not play the game for a long time but when I start a game and you notice the the campaign (Or champaign it's called in this game....) is still not finished and the game appears to be in Early Access, I do not want to put a lot of time into trying to learn how to play a game like this. I guess this one can safely go...
