CompareHyposphere is not simply a classic "marble" platformer, it may also be the most beautiful, thanks to the power of the Unreal Engine 4, as well as the most difficult.

Poorly optimized. The framerate cuts all over the place when moving the ball. Stay away from this one.

Picture yourself as a ball around on a thin platform (unfortunately no Monkey in the ball)...avoiding obstacles, making precise jumps from platform to platform....and cursing at your inability to make the marble move the way you want. Then picture yourself doing that 100 more times. It's actually quite fun, until it isn't. Before I get into it: I'd give the game a 4/10. You'll probably play it once and put it away....

Well I can see why people do not like this. Controls are kind of bad, and you cannot move while in the air. I recommend using a controller because then you have joystick control for more precise movements rather than WASD. The lighting looks good in the video but is bad while in the game. There is a shop where you can buy different skins for the ball as well as buy more lives. However, lives are kind of a joke...

The game has potential to be fun in its concept but ruined by numerous flaws in the game - Game has awful physics, where moving around is a puzzle on its own and you can lose a life from random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quite easily - Controls are weird, no camera movement for mkb and the screen has a mobile game control stick for some reason - Visuals are nice at times, but often some effects blast your eyes with 20 million lumen...

The game looked fun, I love monkey ball stuff. But unfortunately: This is far from being good. I absolutely hated the controls in this garbage. Felt like controlling a tank instead of a marble. At some point it simply became rage inducing. The bloom is disgusting, It's painful to look at. And: The motion blur was just vomit inducing. Hyposphere tried to look like a next-gen gem. But instead It just looks like nextgen...

Just avoid this game, - Zero tutorial/explanation of the game. - Weird/poor game physics. - Game describe itself as "as well as the most difficult", while in fact the developer mix fancy graphic feature together which doesn't blend well. - Game describe itself as "as well as the most difficult", which may be true because of awkward control (i use Keyboard/Mouse). - While this game offer native Linux/SteamOS version,...

The controls are pretty bad. You need to earn coins so you can buy lives at the shop. It's a game where going fast seems most appropriate, but you lack the precision due to no air control. So slow roll. I did not have fun.

Hyposphere, developed by Atum Software and published by Sometimes You, is a sleek and futuristic 3D platformer that revisits the classic concept of marble-based movement games and gives it a modern aesthetic twist. At its core, the game is about precision, balance, and momentum, as players guide a metallic sphere through a variety of intricate environments filled with platforms, traps, and collectibles. The premise...

Bugged achievements? Bugged final level? There is plenty of stuff to talk about, but let's get the elephant out of the room. Play-ability Physics are also a bit weird. Controls requires a careful amount of precision, but gets easier in the later part of the game, just more tedious with artifacts and effects occurring to obstruct vision. Some platforming elements make the later levels unnecessarily longer, but...

Imagine doing hurdles.. there are 100 of them (100 levels).. you make it to the final hurdle a Mike Tyson clocks you denying your opportunity to complete the race. That's what it feels like when you make it to the end and a bug causes you to fall through the floor. I had a quick look online and apparently it's been a bug since 2017. So safe to assume its not going to be fixed. Ignoring the bugs the actual physics...
