Survive in Space is a space shooter that blends Defender's left and right controls with Asteroid's single screen presence. Why tf is it 10.99? get it on sale for like .49, gameplay is repetative and boring, story is written by a 13 year old shadow the hedgehog fan, and none of the music feels like it fits in. Do i reccomend? No. Did i revisit it after 2 years after buying to try to beat it anyway? Yes.

A battle in space with a very interesting mechanics of development and various enemies and ways to deal with them. There is a story in the game, but it is not so important, so if it does not interest you, after a while, learn not to notice it. Survive in Space isn't a bad game. It ran, the achievements work, the gameplay even feels good. The artwork is 12-year-old deviantart tier and what 'plot' your given is roughly the same. What really hurts this game is that the '50 levels' the store page boasts about should have been 20 tops. Mediocre 2D space shooter with a 'background story'. This generic story with cheap-ass animations and bad voice acting is so dumb and childish it actually makes the game worse.

Oh wow they are actually charging that much money for this game? Its mediocre at best and on top of that has gamebreaking bugs, which is rather unfortunate because I wanted to try it out some more, sadly I cant control anything during the actual gameplay anymore. The controls just vanished after I upgraded my stats at the end of a round.

Love it when i come across a indie game where the developer has decided that this is the way the game going to look like and to h**l with normal conventions. Got to admire the vision even if it's weird. This survival game is a complete bore! The tedious mechanics, glitchy controls, and uninspired visuals make it hard to stay engaged. The repetitive tasks and poor optimization ruin any potential fun. Skip this one unless you enjoy frustration!
