Can't play the game anymore. It started demanding an Activation Code I do not have. Update: Found the CD-key, got confused when they said Activation Code when they meant CD-key. The DRM still crashes the game. Still can't play.

Someone described this game as "whole house was mad". Can't disagree after experiencing so many raw set pieces back to back. This game felt like playing Mass Effect 2 after finishing first one. I would even assume some environmental artists were moved to develop Dead Space 2 because locations look both familiar and beautiful. We get to explore Unitology church which feels very unusual, Titan apartment complex...

Great for steamdeck, turn off Vsync to uncap fps. This game automatically comes with all the weapon and armor dlc and completely breaks the games balance, avoid free variant items in shop with dlc logos for the intended vanilla experience.

A Masterpiece Sequel to the Original Classic Dead Space 2008 game & this one for me personally is a 10 out of 10 in my book. I'll try & keep this review spoiler-free for the new players. always has been considered as a better game than the first one, for a reason. doesn't get repetitive and story is quite interesting. the game is old enough for any latest system to run great on max settings, has controller support, works like a charm on linux and has dark ambiances; this screams "play me on steam deck". game is called a classic for a reason, 10 hours of great experience.

Still the best Dead Space. It's sad to know that EA had to abandon this franchise all because of their greed after the Dead Space remake. I would love to spend more hours in this game if they add some achievements to it.

Really great game that improved well upon the first entry. My only complaints are that there’s a lot of enemy spam and the final portion of the game feels a bit rushed. The first half of the game is much scarier than the second, which is more action-oriented and takes away from the horror. Recommended.

I am giving this a game thumbs down for one reason, at least at this point. I would give it a neutral if that were an option, since I only paid 5 bucks. In order to even play the game, so to even get it to launch the game, "you" will have to go out and search for a fix. If a company is selling something on STEAM, they should be responsible for making sure it still works, especially if they are busy promoting it...

I originally played this absolute masterpiece of a game on the PlayStation 3, its fantastic then and still is fantastic to this day! If you are a fan of narrow corridor, puzzle, combat horror games (Resident Evil and Silent Hill), you will absolutely love the Dead Space series.
