Beautiful game, but I can’t recommend this version because of the constant technical issues and crashes on modern PCs. I paid for EA Play mainly to play it, and it ended up being unusable.

I'm throwing in the towel on getting this game to actually work. It doesn't matter how good the underlying game might be if you can't get it to run without crashing. Apparently even with all the community fixes you just have to accept that certain areas of the game will crash constantly. Not worth it.

Ok so hear me out. I love this game, have for years and it was wayyyyy ahead of its time back in the days. But: the fact that I, after investing 33 hrs in this game, cant progress because it keeps crashing in the final battle of the Tower of Mages really sours the joy I've had playing it. I want to recommend it so bad, but I honestly can't.

I absolutely love Dragon Age, but it is unplayable on Steam. Do not buy a game that is broken.

Unplayable. You have to go through so much to maybe get it to run, it's just not worth it. Do not waste money on it. Steam needs to step up and remove this game from the store so EA stops making money off of a game they won't fix.

This doesn't work on new systems properly, so expect to apply a patch and mods. Origins - Sacred single player MMO gameplay filled with jank and bugs and frustrating as hell combat that doesn't even get fun until like 30 hours in. Fights are slow but characters can die in 2 seconds if you're not looking, and everyone feels weak asf until you grind to midgame. The writing is like an all you can eat buffet of dark...
