I've always wanted to play a NFS game where you play as the cops. NFS: Hot Pursuit is the game that made that dream come true. And man, is it fun to wreck the racers with your police car! Pursuits in this game are so much fun, as racer or cop.

This version of NFS is seriously awesome. It also gives me a really special sense of nostalgia. I highly recommend listening to a playlist with songs in the same style as **“Tokyo Drift”** while playing this game. The game’s own soundtrack is great too, but personally, I preferred listening to my own playlist. The game looks really good graphically. Nyoooooom! Great arcade racer, great collection of cars and tracks, right level of challenge vs fun. I will say that if you're playing it these days you'll want to set up dxwnd or such to handle windowed/borderless mode and custom resolutions.

It's not a racing game. You're not driving a car; you're drive a soapbox. Everything you've learned about handling a car is useless in this game.

Idk who needs a review of a delisted game, but i have a beef with this one. It's widely recognized as one of the best NFS games and it used to be one of my favorites too. Been playing this game off and on since it first came out. I first played it on Xbox and then picked it up on Steam several years ago. My favorite out of the franchise so far. This game is old school. No story lines, no avatars and no car set ups. Its good ole fashioned, plain jane racing. Its a hoot.

This was the last good NFS game that was ever released. But it is also a Burnout hybrid, the car handling and crashes are pretty much like the old school burnout games except you can't really wreck cars. Also I'd recommend this original release over the remaster since that is missing some cars.
