The pixel art, despite being simply mediocre in some parts, still has a certain charm, even more with the effect of deaths causing the world to become progressively darker, not just losing color but details such as trees losing their foliage and then dying. Short but great game with 3 secrets, sadly all coins picking up arent useful (for a new better weapon or upgrading the weapons). Intentionally bad visuals, which - again, intentionally! - going to be even worse after you'll die a few times. And know what? The deaths of your character, here and there, are also intentional! Well to be honest I was expecting less. I thought for $2, although i got it in a $1 bundle with a bunch of other games, its not a bad sell. I'm not a fan of pixel art, but to be honest, it doesn't look half bad. Probably my main and only gripe is controller support, or lack of controller customization. Graphics are extremely poor, especially when in large and fullscreen, quite unwell to the eyes. Controls are rather awkward, unconfigurable. I like challenging platformers and don't mind short platformers either, but unfortunately this one is not great at all. The controls are wonky, it feels like you are on ice all the time.
