Tower 57

Seems like a really cool game, certainly the beginning was. Played it in co-op over remote play together. Then, next session, my guest gets the 'Please hold. Input is temporarily disabled while the host is busy'. Tried everything online to fix it, nothing works at all. Won't go away. Can't play the game. Annoying.

Enter the Gungeon, story mode. Pretty fun, but it was upsetting to learn that the achievements are bugged.

It really is retro Tower 57 has really nice pixel graphics, mouse aiming, six characters to chose from and a certain charm. It's also too difficult on easy mode, stingy with giving you information about items and too clunky to navigate. After 22 minutes i died because i got stuck in a swamps somewhere with no apparent way out. There's a reason we don't make games like this anymore.

I was looking forward to this game a bought it as soon as I saw it had released. It's a great game and I've had a lot of fun playing it. I see people saying it's too linear or too short, but I come from the 8-bit gaming era, where I had lots of fun playing the same few games over and over again, where DLC and randomly generated content didn't exist. There are six different charcters to play and some of the levels...

Tower 57 is a top down shooter in the way of chaos engine, with elements of the bullet hell genre. It has a simple scifi story. Go into the tower kill the bad guy, uncover the mystery. controller works nicely, the Pixel art grafics look nice. Not much enemy variation. simple level design.
