Split between trying to launch it from Steam & launching the .exe directly, I have spent nearly 90 minutes playing this game. I have launched it around 70 times, it has crashed a good 50 times while loading the first level & off the remaining 20 odd plays, I quit 4 times & the others it crashed during other level load times. I really hate FPSC, I've never had an engine crash on me more & this game is by far the worst...

I'm going to say it's Day 1, and it has potential. As it is Captivity is suffering from trying to do too many things too soon. There are so many thing wring with this game. Everything wants to kill you and you die in one hit, there are no options, and there is no autosave or checkpoint system just to name a few. I haven't been able to go more than 45 seconds in game without getting stuck in some poorly defined border or missing chunk of floor. The plot is weak and environment is stale. Dont waste a dime on this game.
