I don't get the negative reviews on this game. "The combats too boring! Every enemy is just a bullet sponge!" It was designed for dramatic, theatrical gameplay, not for boss fights that take multiple deaths to beat. Great VR game. The best I'd say. And the immersion in the Half-Life universe in unreal. That being said, the bar for entry is pretty high. You need a beefy system and an expensive VR headset. For me, it raised the bar of what I expected from VR gaming, and subsequently ruined VR gaming for me. If you have a headset, play it! if you don't, don't bother getting one specifically for this. Excellent VR game. The graphics and physics are very realistic, as I flinched many times from seeing and getting hurt by enemies I have not expected to run into. The amount of detail and interactivity with the environments, character models, weapon models and items are quite astounding. I can't even begin to describe what it's like to experience this for the first time totally blind. An unbelievable amount of detail went into every inch of the game. Add on top of that the insane amount of interactivity and a level of immersion I never even thought was achievable. Easily the best gaming experience I've ever had (played on the Meta Quest 2).
