CompareNeverEnd is a Rogue-Like Dungeon crawler, where you, a simple adventurer suddenly wakes up in another dimension. Inside of this dimension there is no sun and the whole world is caved in. Enemies swarm you from left and right and you need to learn how to defend yourself.

- The combat is clumsy - I got the feeling of a poorly copied Bindning of Isaac game - The block does not always work, never on the cat enemies (dont know if its intended) - Soundtrack gets really old really quick + Nice graphics, I'm a fool for blocky styles Could make this game better with adding hearts to levels so taking a little damage wouldnt hurt the run too much.

On the positive side, it is a game, not a random achievement spammer or an asset flip (as many products on Steam these days). The enemies are different, the shield can be used to block attacks (but not *charging* attacks), so some thought was put into this. However, it is way too tough (3 hits, which you can suffer as soon as you enter a room full of monsters, and you are dead), and very repetitive (only 3 basic...

As more and more games are released on Steam daily, it becomes more and more important that they have a mix of quality features. It’s not enough to have only fancy graphics or a unique combat system, because plenty of games have tried to ride their one-trick pony to fair and been hit by a train on the way. That’s why games like NeverEnd are baffling to me, games that do nothing in particular well and just… hope to do...

In theory I shouldn't really be enjoying NeverEnd. It plays like a gaming project, something out of a game jam that's not even mildly interesting. Yet, I have invested almost 11 hours into it. I keep asking myself how, but most importantly why? I don't even like binding of isaac, and this is just that but worse. The only way to play appears to be run away, turn around, melee swing, run away before you get hit again.

I got this game for free from somewhere, don't remember where exactly probably some sale event giveaway or whatever, and after seeing that there were mixed reviews on the store page, I didn't bother even installing this game... until the Summer Sale 2019 event asked me to play a new game and to write a review for a game, and I can't pass up points that I will never use for anything so I decided to try this game....

NeverEnd. You know what else never ends? Greenlight trash. Valve, fix your review system. This title somehow has "10 out of 10" however if you scroll down - the majority is bloody communist red. It's now so much easier to exploit. Just buy the game "legally" from the store to 10 random people for a review and voila! Game of the century!
