This was my first computer game ever, in Germany its name was "Bleifuss Fun". 20 years later it is still as much fun as in the past, it's just a timeless game. Easy controls, simple gameplay. The races against the bots are challenging aswell as the maps; your car can crash down hills or can be smashed by rocks, avalance, etc. what slows you. Game so great I had to buy it twice. No joke I got it on both GOG and Steam, that's how you know it's a good game. Unfortunately it's not remastered or anything so it does run in dos box at 800x600 res but if you can get past that you will thoroughly enjoy this absolute classic.

One of the highlights of my childhood gaming career! :-) IMPORTANT: - Do not activate "Persp. Poly" in "GFX Options" - otherwise the game crashes all the time. WHY? - Why did they remove all the cheat codes and map bugs? Map bugs are ok, but some of the cheat codes were really funny (e.g. view switching, only tires visible, etc.) Please bring them back!

Fantastic game. Remember playing it back in 1997-1998 on my 32MB Ram 166MHZ processor. Good times. I wish they refreshed this game a bit tho. It's a fantastic classic, very enjoyable even right now, so a bit of graphics lifting would be awesome. UPDATE: Unfortunetly it is closely impossible to play it. Every time I crash I get this bug where I won't spawn just keep on exploding forever...

So lets rerelease an old classic but make it basically unplayable. If you dont encounter either of those two bugs (every single race) youre lucky: - constant exploding and respawning - memory read error (ctd) Great game. Absolutely shameful port.

Its sad, this is a classic fun game and brought back so many memories. This version on steam is not playable and a kill joy to the great memory of this game. The game is UNPLAYABLE, the EXPLODING BUG over and over in championship races. Preventing unlocking new vehicles and tracks and truly enjoying the experience of this simple game back in the day.
