We´ve just published an update for the first episode of "Uplands Motel: VR Thriller". It features: • New sound effects when adding objects to the inventory and in certain moments when using them. • Locked doors will now play a sound effect if you try to open them. • Fixed the translation bug when reaching the checkpoints. • Fixed the bug that made difficult to open the safebox at the room. • Fixed some continuity errors. • Hint system improved. • Some typos have been fixed. I'm a big fan of the thriller genre in general and VR would seem to be the perfect vehicle for it, but this title delivers zero thrills and even less fun. I was really hoping for VR "Psycho" or even "Identity", but what you get here is some bad voice acting, terrible sound quality, and one poorly executed jumpscare. The only saving grace is that you can complete the entire "episode" in less time than the refund...

Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers Note for Oculus players: the button mapping is off for this game, but it does work. You press Y/X or A/B instead of the joystick / directional indicated by the game. You still press trigger to grab and grab button to teleport. Roomscale setup is recommended because some items are on the ground and just beyond standing reach. I finished the game in 1.5 hours,...

Played on HTC Vive/GTX1060 It looks kinda decent, plays ok, but there are a lot things that are really anoying. Can't finish the game, due to being 'killed' over and over, with no indication on where to stand.. Sorry, but this is so frustrating that I cannot recommend this game. And the hintsystem showed me a 5th hint that I already had as a third, thereby not getting the needed hint.. It could have been a great...
