Briefly: Short and difficult die&retry platformer, plagued by awkward, sluggish controls. I was surprised to find that Fluffy Creatures VS the World actually precedes the atrocious Tomb Joe (even if just by two weeks) that I played recently. Because this one is almost a decent game. Generic platformer with unimaginative level design and mechanics. Horrendous unresponsive controls. No saving between levels or a level selection menu. Crappy unpolished graphics. Crappy repetitive music. There is multiplayer, but good luck finding someone to play. Well, at least is a dollar game, but then again, there are plenty on this price range, or free, that are better. Avoid. 4/10

Honestly, the achievements and trading cards are my only motivations to playing this game. The game play was dull, boring, and insanely short with only 3 levels to complete. There's no story, no background details, no instructions and coop isn't existent unless you want to make someone else suffer through this game too with you. My entire experience, the hour of playing, was just going left and jumping occasionally....

Unless this game gets a major update or is super cheap I can't really recommend it. PROS: *I think the slam is a neat idea. *There's local co-op, I guess? Sluggish controls. No joystick support. No save. No fullscreen. Very basic graphics. Bad tutorial level. Some levels (e.g. penultimate) rely on sheer luck. He wanted to take Meat Boy’s laurels but mostly failed.

This game feels kind of weird to play. It's like some sort of a school project. Why would you buy it, is beyond me. You can see the horrible screenshots. And even the truly awful description. Does it sound like a good game? No! Is it good though? Of course it isn't! The gameplay is just extremely basic. Even the art style is quite disturbing. It could work as a free to play game. But sadly, you need to buy it...

I played the game Tomb Joe earlier today, not knowing that it was from the same developer. Within the very first minute of this game, I knew right away that it must be the same developer who created this piece of mess, and damn right it is.
