Trading cards are present, but there are no Steam achievements at all, which feels like a missed opportunity for an RPG Maker adventure with a defined story to progress through. There's also a reported crafting bug where recipes refuse to complete even when you have more than enough of the required material (e.g. a cape requiring 1 bolt of cotton won't craft with 11 in inventory), which points to unresolved...

WWI RPG Maker game that's been broken since literally day one, reported dead-end bug the day after release back in 2017, dev ghosted for 5 years straight. They claimed a fix in 2022 but people still got stuck after that too. Even when it works there's maybe 15-20 min of actual game. This is not a review but a warning: do NOT buy 1914: Prelude to Chaos. The game can only be played for the first 10 minutes or so, then you are unable to progress any further because a crucial NPC is missing. This bug has been reported to the developers, but no one has heard from them so far. This game is a scam. After less than 10 minutes, while still in the introduction, you need to walk to reach a character at the inn. When you get there, the character is not there and there is nothing that can be done to progress any further. I feel like no game even exists, it's just a scam to get money from us. Please don't buy 1914: Prelude to Chaos. You can play the game only for a few minutes because a crucial NPC is missing! Without the NPC it's impossible to continue the game. People tried to contact the developer, But to this day the developer did not response. It's sad... Because the game looked promising so far

Not recommended. The first 7 minute of the game, you will feel that it may be a very good game, because it got potential. But after fighting the stray wolf, you will lose your head because when you arrive in the inn, Vuk is not even there. In fact NOBODY is even there. If you ask me why I'm buying this game, the concept of combining rpg and world war is very good. But this game is a dissapointment. Let me sum it up...

Game is playable for about 10 mins, but because of a certain NPC missing, you can't continue. The developers have not responded to questions and concerns about this. Since it was released in May, this should of been fixed; or even made early access instead

This is a ‘Dressed-Up’ Scam. DO NOT reward the Developer Jerk by buying this. It has been broken since release back in May 2017. Instead hit the violation button and report it as broken.
