We put up a minor update today that will fix a cursor issue with Windows 10 and a fix for an obscure crash. Release Notes: 1) Win10 Cursor fix (from Adam Johnson and Joseph Davies - thank you!) 2) DirectMusic disabled 3) Version displayed in the title of the game window (if in windowed mode)

While the old Uru from 2004 worked fine on computers of that time, Uru:CC has at least 12 persistent game breaking bugs that you can only overcome by sheer luck (i.e. opened doors not usable, ladders not working, animations breaking, clipping through floors and platforms). Taken as a regular game, in the state it exists now, I can't call Uru an objectively good game. It's still my favorite in the series after Riven. Why? I can't even explain it fully, but Cyan pushed the boundaries of gaming and narration with Myst, then Riven, then Uru... except this one didn't hit. Uru is the single player part of what was supposed to be a huge MMO experience in the Myst universe. Not stats, no...

While this game is unique in that you create an avatar of yourself for the game each time you play, and it has a lot of interesting Ages, it has its problems. I don't want to give away spoilers here, but there's one Age where you have to jump from a moving platform onto a high plateau.
