Robros is a robot-themed, action-strategy escort shooter where you control two robots to get them to fight their way out of a factory filled with rogue robots. The gameplay is split in two phases: planning and action. The first phase is planning your escape by plotting a vector path on a 2D map.
It's an ok small game.
Has 3 levels and 2 mode types kinda. Tutorial was broken for me so that was useful.
You plan your route to the objective which acts like a puzzle of sorts, then you play it out in First Person as you follow the little robot through the area.
You have to stay really close to it otherwise it stops and loses power. This was pretty annoying. The radius should have been bigger.
Shooting is fine but...

Robros has a great idea, escorting a robot through a path you choose, but the rest of the game leaves much to be desired. The game menu can be confusing as you use forward arrows to move back in menus. There are no bullet animations, so there are limited signs of the fact you are shooting a gun, or what you hit. There are bullet marks that are left for a couple of seconds and a flash at the end of the barrel, but...

This is a small game but it is fairly interesting. Movement is a little sluggish as some people have mentioned but you do kinda get used to it. Keeping track of where the payload bot is is important because your battery drains quick. It forces you to consider that in planning to pick up ammo. Your vision also blurs a lot when you aren't within range of the payload which makes running around a lot more challenging....

Not bad but nothing special. But I respect Indie dev who knows what they are doing to make Unity Games.
It is really weird game, blend FPS and Tactical Strategy and with some Tower Defence stuff.
Tutorial is broken and I skipped it, the waypoint system kinda missleading sometimes, like Ammo Icons are completely useless if your Battery is limited.
Other than that, its a small team project and probably hope for more...

RoBros is an Okay free to play game. Considering the price I am going to give this a thumbs up, however if I had to pay for this game I would definitely not recommend this game.
Pros:
-A unique concept that has potential
-Interesting combat. (Overwatch players should play this game for like 10 minutes)
Cons:
-Anything lower than 1080p you aren’t able to see everything that you need to.
-Not very optimized
-Combat...

Let me just start this by saying it took me 23 minutes to complete.
it was extremely easy and lacked any semblence of quality gameplay.
The concept had some potential but it didn't live up to it in any way.
Its almost worth a play, but it's not a particularly good game so it's getting a downvote.
Graphics: 1/10
Everything is EXTREMELY blurry, and everything looks generally terrible.
Gameplay: 4/10
The concept is...

It was really cool concept but poorly optimized and really short. Most of the graphic option are broken and the framerate really like the number thirteen. The okay aesthetics grew stale since there is no variation in scenery or models. The gameplay is a mixed bag, the planning phase was cool and works well but the maps offer no need for exploration, while the shooting part barely works. The guns aim weirdly, the...

"RoBros" is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from University of Utah in the USA. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more...

This is the first game I've seen in a while that lets you plan before throwing you straight in, and I love that! Another awesome mechanic is the "Charge" mechanic. Say you want to go somewhere, but you don't have enough power. That means you have to go back another way, making the planning process much more compelling, and the "Charge" mechanic for the bot you play as, IRN-E, allows players to step away from BERT for...
