I think the reason this game is getting so many negative reviews is because people were expecting Stardew Valley 2.0. What this game really is, is an idle farm builder. It's really fun if you like idle games and building up farms in general. The only complaint I have would be that I want more content! But otherwise it's a super fun game.

This was listed as a game similar to Stardew Valley. Which was part of why I got it. I recommend this game on the premise that it's £2 - for £2 you can get about 2-3 hours of entertainment. Excellent little game! The graphics are simple but satisfying. This is one of those games you can actively play, leave idle for any length of time, or just have one for five minutes per day. It's a cute game but there's very little to it. It's an idle/grinding game that feels like it should be on mobile or a free browser game. There are also multiple game breaking bugs (ex: zooming out sometimes crashes the game, happened to me 10+ times) and inaccurately reported achievements. Feels like it should be a free game. It's kind of an island designer rather than a game. It is a no pressure kind of builder with zero goals, deadlines, quests, or stress. The developers need to come back to this and simply re-write the blurb to say this is an idle game and the idle crowd would love it. It's a fairly short one, granted. But I think that is reflected well in the price. It's perfect for people like me that want to tinker with something simple and easy while drinking their morning coffee.

Game crashed like 5 times randomly and totally f*cked my progress. It still looks cool but technical problems and also 30 fps made my experience so much worse. Let's just ignore problems.
