So far this is after one game - I'll update if anything is different after further games. This is to the ancient game HnefTafl what Battle Chess is to Chess. It gives a game played like HnefTafl with some variations on what you choose for special pieces, table, etc, but gives you little animated battles between the pieces. I understand that King's Table - The Legend of Ragnarok is a very old game, and I did not play it when it released at its time. However, objectively judging the game now makes it hard for me to give it a recommend. The game is clunky, dated, and somewhat confusing. Even though the concept was interesting, this has aged very poorly, and there are better "battle chess" like games.
