Very simple game that brings back a lot of memories of the original lemmings. For just $1 at the moment (as part of a groupees bundle) its good value for money and just the sort of mindless fun you sometimes need. The mouse control seemed like a good idea but to be honest activating the special clones via the keys is so much easier. I reccomend only if you are a die-hard Lemmings fan. IF you are new to the genre - treat yourself to something else. Clones is not bad, but it's made so tedious - simple things become stretched into hours lost doing nothing but repeatition in game. Not streamlined, not quite there, but good idea. A bit more effort and polishing and this would have been a great title.

Well, with almost a 100 hours playing this I can say I got a very good deal for the little money I paid for the game. It was pretty entertaining for a long time. But, and that's a big BUT, you must consider that nearing the end of the game there are some very, very obscure puzzles and... yeah: zero clues. The levels feature a good amount of variety in terms of obstacles and goals, so I never found myself bored while playing it. However, the minor annoyances due to improper instruction and constant trial and error had me frustrated for a good chunk of the time.

"Send in the CLONES!" You'll hear "it's a lot like Lemmings". If you just ignore that and play you will find it has a broader place as a puzzle game. Now, mind you. Puzzle games are not my favorite, this one I feel the same for as most of the others. As a lot of people already said, this is a Lemmings clone. A VERY good Lemmings clone (maybe calling the game "Clones" was a joke in itself? I'd love the developers if that was the explanation.), which has multiplayer too, so you can virtually get an infinite bundle of enjoyment out of it.
