This game is the biggest piece of ♥♥♥♥ I’ve ever played... Cloud saves work about as well as anti-immigration campaigns, and it has already wiped 75% of my platinum progress twice. Dead multiplayer, hard mode is so unbalanced and difficult that it makes you want to kiss a Glock, and I’m definitely not trying to platinum this a third time—even though I’m a die-hard Tokyo Ghoul fan... It feels like a lazy cash-in that expects the anime's name to carry the whole package. Boring, Repetitive Combat the controls are floaty and unresponsive. Swinging your Kagune/Quinque lacks any real impact, and you're just spamming the exact same button combos every single fight. Copy-Paste Levels the entire game feels super repetitive. If you thought nothing can be worse than the anime adaptiation then you're wrong but i absolutely love this i probably just like tokyo ghoul a bit too much

This game has the same issue 99% of anime games have. It's slop. Slapped together in a few months as cheaply as possible to exploit the license for money. Even if anime video game fans grew tastebuds and demanded quality games, all the game companies would simply blame the IP itself and abandon any future projects while taking no accountability. That is the state anime games have been in for over a decade.

Even just an hour into the game you can tell it's poorly made (Animations, Strange translation, etc...) but it's still fun. Wouldn't recommend to buy at full price because no way in hell is this game worth $60 but if you're a big Tokyo Ghoul fan like me, then I think you should play it when it's on sale.

Easily the worst game ive ever played. It is not worth 10 dollars the gameplay is extremely shallow. no combos, hardly any kagune moves, Npcs are trash, tons of bugs, doesn't even have an animated story. Honestly this is just an embarrassment of a game. its not even fun
