Updated the entire game without leaving a previous version in the game version and beta settings because a few idiots had crossplay issues, and broke the game for the rest if the 99.9% of modded players that probably cant touch multiplayer anyways with how their games all break in modded multiplayer Until they correct this mistake, dont bother buying or modding the game

ALMOST ONE THOUSAND HOURS RAHHH I can say this is the best totalwar game for me (might be just because im an asian chud and very like three kingdoms games) but gods there are still mods in 2026 and they are still being updated overall 9/10 me very likey (1 point missing because they stopped developing this game)

A must have for Three Kingdoms Period enthusiast. The magnificent soundtrack, inclusion of Chinese voice acting, Steam Workshop support, ability to choose between Romance and Records mode makes this the ultimate Three Kingdoms video game thus far.

Just Disappointing all these years and no Three Kingdom start date like its name sake. Left to rot to be abandoned. This game is deserving the support Rome 2 got post launch. A Three Kingdoms start date DLC is not a hard ask

As a long time fan of Total War, Three Kingdoms left me wanting. No tutorial of any kind with the exception of broken links to "How To" YouTube videos. And there's too much of Rome II and Attila in this game. They've been copy/pasting Rome II for years now knowing full well it's the worst title they've ever made. They should have treated Three Kingdoms more like Shogun 2.

Vanilla game itself is pretty shallow/barebones. Campaign and character mechanics are not very interesting and most of the characters do not have unique art. Also so many factions you'd love to play, that were just never really added. Battles are very rock/paper/scissory, more so than other TW titles. In order for me to enioy this game I had to use mods.
