I really liked this. But I really think it had room to get into some amazing situations given the theme and mechanics. I would have loved to see them all come together, or for one person to gain a special ability when they were eliminated. Of course, that's completely different from the creator's overall goal.

This will probably be my most pretentious negative review ever, but I feel like KIDS functions better as both a museum exhibit with its accompanying art installation or a short film submitted to film festivals than it does as a game that you buy and play on your home computer. I both appreciate the artistry that went into this project while also believing that it doesn't really "work" as something I put in my Steam...

Kids is a short, interactive experience that feels more like an art piece than a game. Your main goal is to guide crowds of children. They run, hit, fall, clap and even pressure the other children into joining them. It’s weird, abstract and oddly compelling. It is definitely an odd game worth playing. CYCLE: hole is a belif and people who fall through it are learning about it, then they have kids that soon find the belif (sorry if I spell belif wrong) and also learn about it, making it go full circle. what do you think of this theory/cycle?
