CompareObjects in Space is a retro space game centred on 2D point-and-click stealth action in a massive open world. Players have their own customisable ships and can meet people, become a trader, bounty hunter, explorer, scavenger or all of them at once.

Excellent Game concept another game coming out as of September 1st, 2026 called Deck+Conn looks nearly identical to this game, however objects in space has received zero updates in YEARS and still charges 25 dollars USD. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, DO NOT BUY DECK+CONN UNTIL REVIEWS/PROGRESS OCCURS. In summary great concept game is ABANDONWARE

Very good game. Make sure to install the unofficial public patches though, as they fix a security vulnerability.

On 04/08/2026, the game is sold for 20.99€, this is unacceptable, this is a very small game with ZERO updates in years: no additional content, no improvement, no new features. The game itself is very limited the "gameplay loop" is covered in a few minutes/hours. I really wanted to love this game, it has a lot of amazing ideas, but for the price it's being sold AND the total lack of updates in YEARS, added to that...

Really want to like this, it's got great bones. But unfortunately its pretty much just abandonware at this point, totally unfinished and no effective communication from the devs for years.Do not buy. Disappointing.

It's a dead/abandoned game, it'll never be finished to my chagrin. What I played of it (at least 30 hours) I really enjoyed the mechanics of the game, what little of it was available. I still loved it despite the bugs, and the other in game issues. So if you enjoy that kind of burn it might be worth getting for a couple of dollars, otherwise it's really not worth the full price of the game since it's totally dead and...

This game could have been cool if it was actually finished before it was dropped by the owners. Instead it mainly gave me frustrating glimpses of a game I could have enjoyed a lot more. It's frequently on sale for eighty percent off. I really want to like this game but there are too many issues.
