Super Punchman starts out looking promising with an over the top menu screen and a short B-rated movie cut-scene depicting a dragon knocking our hero out of the air. From the store description I was expecting some funny one-liners and clichés in the vein of Duke Nukem. However, just like the hero crashing, the start of the game takes a huge nose dive. Zzzzzzz... I really wanted to like this game. And dammit, it SHOULD be a game I like as I tend to like these kinds of move, dodge and directional shooting overhead kinda games. But this one lacks anything to make it interesting or exciting and it gets boring as all hell within just a few minutes.
