Konichiwa! It's been about like. 2 years since Arlo's release... dang. Happy 2 years buddy! Oh what was added? - New sub menu after the title - Adds new game and load game - Pause menu stuffs - Adds a save and quit setting that can be reloaded from the last level you were in. - Better understanding OF WHERE PITS ARE. - Bug fixes... we may of forgotten to remove the part where the big mean boss DIES...

Wonderful loveletter to Gameboy platformers, just the right level of difficulty - I can't stand how most indie platformers shoot to be as difficult as possible owing to the success of Super Meat Boy and Shovel Knight. Sometimes you just need a simple and fun game to unwind with and Arlo definitely provides that! A quirky little platformer with tons of charm. If you're a fan of Nintendo's Kirby series you'll love this game and it's adorable style. The soundtrack is also catchy and super fun to listen to. If there's one thing I don't like about the game, it's the fact that it's too short. I hope to see more of what Good Friends Studios has to offer in the future.

Overall a really solid little game! The controls are tight and simple, level design is good, and it really nails the structure of a gameboy game! Music is fantastic, every song is catchy and fitting for the stage. The final level theme is my personal favorite. Unfortunetly, graphics are the weak point of the game. Enemy sprites look fine, and the end-of-level dance is really cute, but the tilesets are flat and...
