PLAY THE DEMO NYRAS PROLOG IF YOU WANT AN ACTUAL REPRESENTATION OF THE NEW GAME! I can't really express how this teaser is awful and how it is the opposite of things that made Gothic series great. This is total crap. Boring and unplayable. Game starts slow, lot of cut-scenes and talk. Diego is pretentious douchebag who talks like wine sommelier, your character is forced into quests - like, you can't explore and find weapon of choice, you must fight with broken sword so you can complete the quest...

Main character is constantly talking, and that's annoying as hell. And he's a bloody coward. Also invisible walls. The hell? The Gothic Spirit is free exploring. And now we have a corridor gameplay. That's absolutely, definitely not the Gothic

Couldn't complete the intro sequence because protagonist wouldn't shut up about every single action he is taking. Plus game runs poorly. Didn't feel any for Piranha Bytes buggy charm instead like I was treated like toddler who need explanation of PC putting a torch down to pick something else up.

Unplayable and not at all true to the original! The Intro is completely different from Gothic I and the Character is constantly talking. It's so annoying, I had to quit this thing within a minute.

As a fan of the original Gothic, this teaser is a mixed bag that left me cautiously optimistic but genuinely concerned. The visuals are stunning and the world has real atmosphere, but the protagonist won't stop talking — every two steps he's narrating the obvious like a Deadpool wannabe who forgot to bring the charm. Diego feels completely off from the rough mentor I remember, and the combat system is clunky enough...

Gothic is a masterpiece. Please don't piss on its grave for a lump of magic ore. Having said that, Gothic could be remade for modern gaming but this is not it. It looks like Gothic, but it doesn't FEEL like Gothic. It doesn't have the heart. Gothic atmosphere is not present. Some points. + Not a fan of changing the intro, but it makes sense that the Exchange Zone was expanded to include the lift from the original...

Dear THQ, please don't follow this path. Don't copy mechanics from Fallout 4. Gothic is all about the dialogs, hermatization, possibilites to find different ways to achieve the goal without HELP OF THE GAME!!! DO NOT flatten Gothic, make is difficult as it should be... and for god sake, don't event consider to implement this braindead 4 options dialog sections... Classic dialogs - this is the key to success.
