AoW: HT updated and relaunched!

Dear Act of War: High Treason Fans, We are pleased to announce that we have updated and relaunched AOW: HT! With this update we have been able to expand compatibility, so the game now runs on modern operating systems including Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. Please note, although we do not anticipate any issues with Saved Games at this time, you should as a precaution backup your Saved Games before updating the game. We suggest creating a backup of the entire AoW Saved Game directory (listed below). Saved games, for most players, can be found at the following location on your computer: For 32-bit WIndows: c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\Act of War High Treason\AOW For 64-bit Windows: c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Act of War High Treason\AOW Cheers, Atari

surely a classic, however, is in need of some serious updating. Not sure if the creator abandoned the game but this has the potential for being the absolute best in its genre if fixes are rolled out

The best RTS I have played. By far the best. By using the mods of this game and (huge) custom maps, skirmish is going to another level. I ve managet to play a game and handling ~150 aircrafts, ~200 battle tanks, ~200 infantry, and the enemy had multiple forces. The game didnt crash, and the whole gameplay was marvellous. The market lacks of these games.
